Papaspyropoulos joins 2025-26 men's hockey recruiting class
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's hockey program is excited to announce the addition of Alex Papaspyropoulos to the 2025-26 recruiting class.
"We are thrilled to welcome Alex as the newest member of our 2025-26 recruiting class," said Ridgebacks Head Coach Curtis Hodgins. "He is a skilled and crafty forward who will certainly add to the offensive piece of our team, along with being someone who plays the game hard and with passion. As a resident of nearby Brooklin, he will be the second local player in this year's class, and we look forward to seeing Alex on the ice in September. "
The Toronto, Ont. native played 64 games last season for the New Jersey Jr. Titans of the NAHL, where he tallied 25 goals and 38 assists. In 2023-24, he split time between the Amarillo Wranglers, scoring eight goals and dishing 17 assists in 25 games, and the Estevan Bruins, where he notched six goals and 21 assists over 27 games.
"The whole entire New Jersey Titans organization want to congratulate Alex on his selection to attend Ontario Tech," said New Jersey Titans Head Coach George Havilland. "We are handing off Alex as a complete player whose offensive playmaking abilities make him a threat every time he steps on the ice. We fully think Ontario Tech got a player that can step in right now and make a difference on their team. He has left his mark in New Jersey for sure! "
