PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team battled the Trent Excalibur, but ultimately fell 2-1 in their first road game of the season.
The Excalibur struck early with a goal from John Moncada in the 13th minute of the game and doubled their lead with a second from Moncada, assisted by Warren Chambers in the 28th minute.
Ontario Tech would begin to find their footing in the second half, with Erion Metaj notching his third goal of the season on an assist from David Reilly.
The Ridgebacks will be back at Vaso's Field tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. when the Laurentian Voyageurs come to Oshawa.
