OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team dropped a 70–37 decision to the Brock Badgers on Friday, January 23, at Bob Davis Gymnasium.
Brock built an early advantage and carried a 42–18 lead into halftime before continuing to control the tempo through the second half. The Ridgebacks battled defensively, forcing turnovers and working for second-chance opportunities, but were unable to close the gap as the Badgers pulled away late.
Quincy Okubasu led Ontario Tech on the glass with a team-high 10 rebounds, while Rosheen Antonroy finished with eight points. Kaleah Gosse added six points and four steals, and Brianna Morrison chipped in seven points off the bench as the Ridgebacks continued to lean on balanced contributions throughout the lineup.
Ontario Tech will return to action on Saturday, January 24, when the Ridgebacks host International Night at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre as part of OUA Anti-Racism Awareness Week. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
